The Thompson Tommies are ranked #1 in both NDAPSSA basketball polls (boys and girls).

Highlights: Shiloh Christian tops Bishop Ryan in girls hoops

Bismarck – Shiloh Christian’s offense came alive in the second half, propelling the Skyhawks to a 45-31 victory over Minot Ryan in girls hoops action.

Senior Olivia Martin finished with a game-high 15 points. Allison Bearstail and Kelsey Mischel chipped in 9 points a piece.

Highlights: Skyhawks fly past #1 ranked Lions in boys hoops

Bismarck – The #7 ranked Shiloh Christian Skyhawks beat the #1 ranked Bishop Ryan Lions in convincing fashion on Saturday.

Bishop Ryan’s roster features two of the top players in the state (Mason Hedberg and Ben Bohl), both are recent Minot State commits. The Lions are also coming off a berth in the state championship game last year.

The Skyhawks didn’t seem afraid of the challenge. Shiloh flashed their impressive depth throughout the game. They also showed a willingness to play strong, unselfish basketball.

Shiloh Christian really got rolling in the second half, the Skyhawks shot a blistering 68% from the field in the final two quarters.

Junior Jaden Mitzel finished with a team-high 20 points. Senior Macauley Young scored 19 points while grabbing a staggering 19 rebounds (8 offensive).

Fellow senior Canaan Fagerland dished out a game-high 10 assists.

Bishop Ryan senior Mason Hedberg finished with a game-high 24 points.

Skyhawks fly past Comets in girls basketball

Underwood – Shiloh Christian outscored Underwood 24-13 in the second half, propelling the Skyhawks to a 41-30 victory in Region 5 girls basketball action.

Olivia Martin paced the Skyhawks with 11 points. Fellow seniors Allison Bearstail and Rachel Mischel chipped in 8 points a piece for Shiloh.

Junior Taysha Snyder scored a game-high 15 points to pace the Comets.

Shiloh will be back in action on Saturday when they host Minot Ryan. That game will be streamed live on the Skyhawk Gazette homepage.

The Shiloh Christian Skyhawks claimed the #7 spot in the first North Dakota Class B Boys Basketball Poll (NDAPSSA). Shiloh will host #1 ranked Bishop Ryan on Saturday.

The Lady Skyhawks (3-1) received votes in the second NDAPSSA Girls Basketball Poll. The Shiloh Christian girls basketball team will travel to Underwood on Tuesday (December 11th).
