Bismarck – Shiloh Christian’s Macauley Young and Jaden Mitzel have been named to the North Dakota Class B Boys Basketball All-State Team. These awards are voted on by the NDAPSSA.
Senior Matt Reep was named to the North Dakota Academic All-State Team.
Both players had excellent seasons for the Skyhawks:
Young eclipsed the 1000 point mark on February 9th of this season, he was also named the District 9 Senior Athlete of the Year.
The 6’9” center saved his best work for North Dakota Class B Basketball State Tournament. Young compiled an impressive stat line during the tournament: 55 points, 58 rebounds, and 6 blocks. His strong play helped to net him a well-deserved spot on the All-Tournament team.

Mitzel led the Skyhawks in scoring this year (18 ppg) while establishing himself as one of the top juniors in the state. He was named to the North Dakota Class B All-Tournament team in 2018. Mitzel was also named to the All-State team in football earlier this year.

The last Shiloh Christian Boys Basketball player to be named to the All-State team was Zac Martin (2015-2016). Former Shiloh Christian standouts Amber Stevahn (2017-2018) and Krista Ulmer (2015-2016) were also named to the All-State team in recent years.
