January 29th was the original date for this intense rivalry but due to bad weather, the game was postponed for a later date. Just this past weekend on February 9th, Shiloh traveled over to Flasher. With both teams predicted as top contenders for District 9, one came out on top for this game. The Shiloh Christian Skyhawks overcame the Flasher Bulldog team and crowd with a 63-37 deficit.
Shiloh senior, Macauley Young, eclipsed the 1000 point mark during the 2nd quarter. This got the crowd ecstatic, as they waved signs and screamed with appreciation towards the 6’9″ center. After the game, the whole team gathered with Young and took a picture with a sign saying, “Boom! #52 1,000!”
During the 4th quarter, Young provided a huge morale boost for Shiloh as he slammed it down on one of the Bulldog players. This play caused an uproar among the Shiloh faithful. Shiloh immediately pulled away from Flasher granting them another win and Flasher another loss.
