Jamestown – The Ada-Borup Cougars (8-0) were able to outlast the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks (1-2) in double-overtime 83-75.
Junior Jaden Mitzel poured in a game-high 27 points to go along with 12 rebounds. Senior Macauley Young finished with 24 points and 15 rebounds.
Shiloh has played a grueling schedule to start the season. The Skyhawks have played three top-caliber opponents to kick off the season — #2 Dickinson Trinity (5-0), #7 Minot Bishop Ryan (4-1), and Ada-Borup (8-0) — that trio has a combined record of 17-1. Bishop Ryan’s only loss came at the hands of the Skyhawks.
The Skyhawks will be back in action on December 26th when they travel to Mandan for the Holiday Tournament.
